Is there somewhere in Scotland that you have a strong association with? It could be the place you were brought up, or where you live, study or work now. PlaceBook Scotland wants to know what makes your place distinct, and for you to capture it using music, song, words or photographs. This is your opportunity to create a record of the identity of your place - the good, bad and even the ugly!
Whether you live in Glasgow or Gigha, they want you to capture the essence of your place and tell them about it. Everyone will be able to post their photos, prose, poetry and music on the website. PlaceBook Scotland will become an important record about how we see and perceive our places today.
There are plans to create an archive of these contributions and exhibit them throughout Scotland during the Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrations.
Start creating your contribution today and register on their website,
www.placebookscotland.com so they can let you know when to post it in Autumn 2008.
