New Highly Skilled Migrants Tier 1 goes live 29 February

The "General sub-category" (which replaces the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme) of the new Tier 1 comes into effect for in country applications from 29th February 2008.
Find out more from the Border and Immigration Agency website. The "Post-Study Work sub-category" which subsumes the Fresh Talent:Working in Scotland Scheme is planned for summer 2008.
