Fresh Talent turns Post Study

Following the announcement by the Home Secretary of the Statement of Intent for Tier One of the new Points Based System for managed migration, we can now tell you how the Fresh Talent: Working in Scotland Scheme (FT:WiSS) will be integrated into the new points based system once it is launched around Springtime 2008.

FT:WiSS will become part of Tier One - Post Study. The criteria for Tier One - Post Study remain the same as that for FT:WiSS. The Home Office will continue to administer the system and successful applicants will still be allowed to work in the UK for up to 2 years. So while the name will change, graduates are unlikely to see any other changes.
